would be nice if people would start using original ideas instead of rehashing things that have already been done.

well already.

I'm far from jumping down anyone's throats about something we have no real info on, but we've been sh!t on by Pressman for so long I'd like

I'm surprised to see all the negativity here. Despite what association we all have with the crow '94, I have to say that in certain ways, I feel that
film deviated from O'Barr's original vision in ways that I didn't necessarily like. If it wasn't for Proyas and Lee, that film would've
gone to hell. Personally, I'd love to see something a little closer to O' Barr's book. I agree w/Smak in saying that Hopefully this'll not only
be a breath of fresh...

Also its nice to just see some life being put into the series again...hopefully something really gnarly will come outta it.

I dont see it as being a "remake" i think that'll be shot down real quick, but i could def see a reboot ala batman begins thing go on with the
movie. Time will tell, i dont think petitioning or any of that jazz is necessary quite yet. all we...

I have been fuming all day about this...well, not all day but let loose on another forum and it does not sound like it is a positive action to take by those
who want to re-make it. Although, I did have to chuckle when Norrington called for the new film to be less "gothic" and more "realistic".
Not sure how realistic a story about a man coming back from the dead immuned to real world dangers will be, but nice to know Hollywood is on top of these
things.
