Yup it's your stereotypical Scotsman here once again! Man it's been a while, can't remember the last time I visited here! And who's the first guy I see here the Lord himsel Arykh! (Hell even typing you name again feels good!) How it's hanging? And Moon, How have you been?!? Glad to see you're still here, looking after everyone. And Shadow? Good to see you again. All you guys and gals....good to see you. Me?!? You really wanna know? I don't think much has changed since I last visited. Me & Tracy are doing great as always, we're like glue! Kids are doing great, Cameron's 8 now and Rhiannon's 4. Still cheeky wee buggers but I wouldn't have it any other way. They're great kids. Cameron's at football, doing great at school and growing up well. Rhiannon's at nursery (kindergarten) and sings and dance all day long. Still doing eejits (visit www.eejits-online.co.uk kids )and am now trying to break into Children's books, but the road is long and hard. Teamed up with a local author and we've got one book done with another 2 to finish before we pitch to publishers. Also contratced to a company in the US (SupperTime Entertainment) to merchandise eejits in the US but we haven't been successful as of yet. I suppose the current economic crisis doesn't help. So that's where I'm at.... Good to see ya guys again! I'm off to have some porridge with a wee dash o' haggis and whiskey! I've missed having to ask you for a translation for some of the phrases you use. I've been ok. Thanks for asking. Work slowed down to the point of really being non existent so I've taken a job outside the home. I like it, but it leaves me with less time online. I'm glad you're still doing the eejits and I hope you can catch a break for the children's books.

Sorry to hear about work but I'm happy that you're doing something that you like. At least there's a paycheck at the end of it. It seems that coming back here, nearly everyone's life has changed. Mine's has pretty much stayed the same, still pottering along. I keep the steel carving of my name that you sent me on my desk at home on full display. Man, it has been ages since we spoke. Do me a favor and e-mail me once again. I have your e-mail somewhere but it would be easier that way. We keep talking about staying in touch and we do for a few e-mails then 6-7 months later we meet up again. lol We must stop that! If I can pull it off my friend I may just have to arrange a trip to visit the beautiful land of kilts...just as long as I don't see up any while I'm there. lol I've been talking with me girl about it and I think it may be a possibility down the road but not for at least another year or so. Meanwhile, we still need to get you and the kids here sometime. Flights are getting cheaper as we go, so hopefully we can make that happen soon. It's fantastic to talk to you again!! Man, I had forgotten about that steel name I cut for you, delighted that you still have it. I'm at work right now, but I'll e-mail you from home. I think I still have one of your old addresses in me book o' addresses. Yeah you gotta take a trip to our beautiful land. There's a series on TV at the moment: 'History of Scotland' and it's simply awe-inspiring, detailing where we came from and how we got here, but best of all it showcases the simply stunning scenery and landscapes we have here. In fact me and the wife have decided to start hill-walking next year to enjoy some of what is around us, what we take for granted really. So definitely, get yer sporran on and get yer scrawny ass over here!! Again, me and the wife have talked about coming to the US for such a long time, but it's difficult with the kids and their holidays. They seem to bump the prices up as soon as they get outta school for a break. (The buggers!). But it's definitely something that we will be doing sometime! Yeah, eejits is trundling along, like I said before, I'm hoping to get them into books next year and then there'll be no stopping me! (Maybe I'll get a trip to the US that way.....on me book signing world tour! I can but dream!) Hey man, send me a pic and I'll try and rustle up an Arykh eejit! It could be the next pokemon!!! There is actually a really cute line of dolls that reminded me of the eejits last year around Christmas that became fairly popular. What does OCH AYE the NOO mean? Maybe one day I'll learn to speak Scottish so I don't have to ask for a translation. I wish they were airing the History of Scotland here. I'd love to see that. If I had money to travel, I'd go to the UK. I've never been and I'm dying to see it.

It's aired by the BBC. There's a web site that can be found at:- http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/history/ I doubt you'll be able to watch past episodes (they put the repeats on their BBC iPlayer) due to your location. Shame really. As for Och Aye the Noo it simply translates as Oh Yes the Now. It can be read as Oh Yes, just Now. Hope that helps, ikarus

Unfortunately, I'm not able to use the BBC iPlayer to view television shows (it works for radio broadcasts). I wish I were. They're working on an international solution, so there's hope. I've actually complained to them that they don't air a wide enough variety of their programmes here and they don't make them available online here either. Maybe they're actually taking the comments to heart. There are quite a few things I'd like to watch that don't air here. Thank you for the translation. I like that saying.
